Support India’s Artists
Every performance you’ve loved, every film, play, painting, sculpture, dance, concert or song that has touched your heart – behind it stands an artist’s courage, creativity, and resilience. Yet, too many of our artists and technicians struggle with little financial security, no health cover, limited opportunities, or retirement support. Help protect and uplift Indian artists across all art forms with your donation.
Support Indian Artists
Bahumukhi Kalakaar Sangam (BKS) is India’s only cross-disciplinary collective uniting artists and technicians from TV, cinema, theatre, folk, fine arts, digital, and more. We’re certified (12A, 80G, CSR, and NGO Darpan) and dedicated to empowering creative lives.
Our commitment lies in safeguarding the welfare of our members by providing them with assistance and upholding their professional and workplace dignity and rights.
At BKS, we recognise the enormous contributions artists make to our cultural landscape. Unfortunately, many artists face significant challenges such as financial instability and limited access to:
Opportunities,
Healthcare,
An organized working sector,
Better working conditions and
Retirement provisions.

How Your Support Enables Our Work:
At BKS, we are actively building an artist support ecosystem:
Launching a dedicated web portal that provides artist profiles, networking, work opportunities, and e-commerce to sell their art
Run a membership programme that offers health insurance, pension benefits, legal aid, and exclusive access to resources.
Producing films and organising exhibitions, shows, workshops, and masterclasses to showcase and nurture talent
Publishing magazines and newsletters to keep artists informed, inspired, and connected to opportunity
Developing art education programmes to teach and create new artists—so that culture thrives in every community
All of these initiatives rely entirely on your donations and goodwill.
How Your Support Transforms Lives:
Healthcare aid for urgent needs
Skill-building workshops and masterclasses
Legal help, pensions, and protection for workplace dignity
Our Talent Bank and e-commerce platform to help artists grow income
Resource Centre and advocacy to amplify artist voices
And of course all your monetary contributions may help you get a tax benefit as well.
You Can Choose How to Help
Become a Friend of the Arts: Pledge a monthly contribution (₹500, ₹1,000, ₹2,000 or more) and give continuous support to those who keep our culture alive.
Give a One-Time Donation: Donate for the cause and the initiative so that we can succeed in our mission.
Champion an Initiative: Support healthcare, legal aid, workshops, or creative grants directly. Sponsor a training session, medical fund, or emergency hotline.
Every rupee supports real artists, real lives, and a richer cultural future.

Why Support?
Artists need healthcare, legal aid, and fair work.
Your Impact
Funds provide training, pensions, and talent promotion.
Our initiative provides artists with the support, community, and resources they need to thrive. We advocate for fair and equitable labour conditions across the arts and entertainment sector, ensuring dignity, safety, and fulfilment for all creative workers.
BKS offers guidance on work-related issues, legal support, collective insurance, and representation. We amplify the voices of artists and technicians, influencing industry and government decisions that shape their livelihoods.
Through our membership program, artists gain access to work opportunities, the Talent Bank, project commissioning, workshops, festivals, an e-commerce platform, grants, legal aid, healthcare, pension benefits, professional development, and a dedicated Resource Centre.
To continue this mission, we rely on your support. Your contributions help us expand services and uplift more artists across the country. Together, we can build a fairer, more empowered creative ecosystem.
